The FUEL MXC...

The Poster: What is it: The Fuel MXC or Most Extreme Elimination Challenge is based on a Japanese Game Show of the same name. It will require the 100 contestants to perform a series of physical and mental challenges in the effort to be the last challenger standing. The winner will receive $50 cash and be crowned MXC Series One Champion. All safety precautions will be attended to and qualified first aiders will be standing by at all times.

100max Competitors, get there early

Date: Friday 8th August

Time: 6:30-930pm, (Registration at 6:15 for Contestants

Cost: $10, be in to Win $50 Grand Prize

Where it it: 112 Eaststreet, Register at Back Youth Hall

Competition Rules:

Only the 1st 100 valid persons will be able to compete in the Most Extreme Elimination Challenge.
All competitors must be enrolled in Intermediate Education, and must be between 10-13 years old.
All Competitors must come wearing old (wacky) clothes as they will get muddy.
All Competitors must bring with them a change of dry clothes and a towel.
All Competitors must provide and be wearing a safety (bicycle) helmet.
All Competitors must arrive at 6:15 for registration.
All Competitors are required to sign a safety/damages disclaimer before being allowed to compete.
All decisions from Referees are final and binding.
All contestants must observe the above conditions, in the event of
non-compliance they will be asked to not compete

Hey guys,

So on Friday night just been we looked at some pretty intense questions, I wanted you guys to start thinking about what I means to be a Christian and I think there is no point mucking around and giving you guys nice questions that will make you feel Good...so I went hard out?

These are the questions I gave...

1. What is a Christian?

2. What does it mean to be a Christian?

3. Do you have to go to church to be a Christian?

4. Are Catholic’s the same as Christians?

5. What does Christianity and reading the Bible have to do with each other?

6. Do I have to have Christian friends to be a Christian?

7. Who is Jesus?

8. Should Christians Swear?

9. Should Christians have Sex?

10. Should Christians do Drugs?

11. Should Christians get an Abortion?

12. What is Prayer, is it a Christian thing or what?

13. Do Christians need to go to Confession?

14. What was Christ Like?

15. Why does God have so many rules for us?

16. If I screw up and do bad things (SIN) will God strike me down with Lightning?

17. What is Sin, does this affect me at all?

18. If I’ve done wrong stuff and am sorry, do I still Go to Hell?

19. Do we all go to Hell?

20. Do we all go to Heaven?

21. What happens if I’ve only been a little bit bad, like I haven’t killed anyone or anything do I still go to hell?

22. How do I become a Christian?

23. How do I tell other people that I’m a Christian and it’s cool as and they should be Christian too?

24. How can God really help me? Does he even know whats going on in my world?

25. Can Christians our age have Girlfriends or Boyfriends?

26. Why are there so many Churches, which one do I go to?

What questions really stood out to you? Which one confuse you?
Which ones scare you a little?

RiCO thats me, actaully its not but i do have a handlebar moustache. Well I'm 22 and I am a trained chef. Thats right I can cook. I now studying at VISION College part time doing a diploma in Minstry... bla bla bla I study the bible and learn about how to work in a church.

If you haven't figured it out yet I have a Passion to see people take hold of the God and make him there life. I have a passion for the Bible and to see people, especially young people figure out that the Bible is for them and it can help them live the life that God has for them.

I believe that if Christians unite and follow what the Bible says then a full on revival can take place where we have huge church services and where all people will know about God and what he can do for them.
I also believe that young people can do everything and more for God than older people. That is why I am proud to run fuel because I believe that if I can help one of you guys or girls find out how amazing God is then all my work will be more than worth it.

Boys Life Group

Boys Life Group is a place where we can be ourselves and have heaps of fun. If you want to part of building our huge amazing treehut then come and check it out. It's in the Upstairs Cafe during the school term, Wednesday at 4:30-6pm.

Girls Lifegroup

The Girls Fuel Life Group meets weekly on Mondays from 4-5:30pm in the Upstairs Cafe during the school term. NO BOYS ALLOWED!

The girls get together and chat about real life issues that they face everyday both inside and outside of school. We also get to hang out, drink hot chocolate, and have heaps fun as we continue on our journey together.

Fuel Am

Fuel AM is a unique programme designed for those students in Years 7-8 (ages 10-13), where we seek to encourage young people in their walk with God and where we can hang out and have heaps of fun with our friends.

Fuel AM runs on Sunday mornings during the 9 and 10:40am services during the school term.

Fuel Friday Nights

Fuel Nights are an awesome place to bring freinds to, with crazy games, slime, weird activities, un-ashamed insanity, and an all round good night ! If you know a kid who isn't raving about how great fuel nights are, chances are they haven't been to one.

This event is run every second Friday night during the school term from 7pm till 9pm and is open to all Intermediate kids.

It is held at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church on the corner of Te Aroha and River Road in the Cattanach Hall out back.

I read the first couple of books at a teenager and then stopped. I'm finding there are two school of thought over Harry Potter, those very much for and those very much against...

Age doesn't mean squat!

As you guys know I'm old, well I'm 22 its not even that old but compared to you guys that's nearly 10 years difference. You would think that's a lot, but do you know that it make absolutely no difference to God.

Do you know when I was asked to take over Fuel I wasn't keen, I wasn't keen to 'look after some little kids' and babysit them. Clive my Youth Pastor let me in on a little secret...

Age doesn't mean squat!

Those aren't his exact words but they are close, he began to tell me about his Youth Group(Y.G) in South Africa(S.A) that was full of youth your age! He told me how they were going hard out for God and how they had

-full on worship: just like in church, but way better with cooler music and stuff

-they were praying hard core: I saw a taste of this on sunday morning where about 40 Fuelians were standing around a mat with about 100 names of there freinds who needed to know Jesus or people who need healing(it was amazing)

- how they were prophesing: hearing from God and speaking that out as words for other people

I truly believe this is only the begining for people your age. Do you know God doesn't care about age... we see this in the Bible over and over

David was a sheep working for his dad when he killed a giant 3x his height(1 Kings 17) he wasn't even big enough to wear the armour he was given.

Elisha was a young man chosen to carry on from Elijah (1 Kings 19:19) and do awesome stuff like part rivers and even used two bears to kills some people calling him names (2 Kings 2:24).

Josheph from a young age was chosen by God to do his work and in the saved a whole nation(Genesis 37) from starvation.

Sameul sent as a very young boy to live in the Temple of God heard from God when the preist could not and told him he was only dreaming.(1 Samuel 1-2)

There are many more people that God used at a young age, I'm sure you think your pretty cool and do you know what GOD SAYS YOU ARE and therefore you are. No matter how young you are God WILL use you if you make yourself availible...

Wow im getting excited about my first fuel, there's gonna be so much new stuff happening.

This Blog exists to help people find out all about Fuel, the craziest youth program in Hamilton, maybe even the World. Fuel is a Youth Program Run by Eastside Apostolic Church RiCO (thats me) runs this crazy program, along with many helpers and of course the youth, cos without them I would just be a dude sitting in an office doing nothing.
